What is Gorilla Golf?
We asked one of our Golfers to share their experience:
Gorilla golf is a day on the course like no other. Last year, we gathered around the registration table at 7:30am… we filled our thermos’ with coffee and had a muffin and a banana before we started monkeying around on the course. The carts line up just before 8am… and we were reminded WHY we were there. Every hole we play at Gorilla Golf supports friends, family and community members battling cancer. We have secured pledges per hole and flat donations for our golfing efforts. At 8am sharp, the fun begins!
This is not your traditional golf outing. Your driver and/or golf partner drops you off right next to your ball at every shot. If one goes in the woods, or lands on the green beside you, just drop another ball… whose counting! This is about having fun and doing the sport you love… all in support of an incredible cause. You will find lots of heckling and many laughs throughout the day. And while this isn’t intended to be a “serious round of golf”, after 100+ holes, you will surely have some of the best drives of your life. Bluebird provides us with an awesome lunch, a never ending cooler and all kinds of fun!
When I say that this was the most crazy and fun golf outing I have ever attended… I mean it!
